Come on down to the corner of Marquette and Clifton Ave. where we will be Strippin' in the Yard all summer long!
First, I should clarify: by we I meant me.
And by Strippin' I meant stripping paint off of 'found' furniture, at my house, in my backyard.
Get your mind out of the gutter, people..
But seriously, resist the temptation to stop reading..this story might get more interesting..
And there's still going to be adventures involving girls (well, at least one for now) and power tools.
I've wanted to get into the business of rehabbing furniture since I was in the 5th grade, scrubbing the nicotine stains off the headboard of the antique full-size bedset my dad bought me..
Technically this rehabbing business is still a hobby until I actually sell something..
Ok, a few things..
Ok, until I sell enough remade furniture pieces so as not to confuse a sale with my mom 'buying' my work..
